We occasionally read about cancer patients who were given weeks or months to live, but who have lived for more than ten or twenty years and are still going strong. There are numerous factors that collaborate to ensure the survival of the cancer patient. But there is a common factor among all individuals who have defied all norms: Resilience which is the ability to maintain a sense of optimism and hope in the face of adversity and to do the best possible job of managing the situation. To put it simply, hold on to your nerves and always have Hope!
